Barns of Kanak Prince George Wedding
This sweet girl married this fun and playful guy this past weekend! And let me just tell you, I have known Evan since she was in high school. Her parents played a big role is helping Ryan and I learn a lot about a great marriage in our younger married years. I remember them talking about the day their daughters get married and to see it actually happen was so special and sweet.
The Barns of Kanak Were the Perfect Spot
For these two the Barns of Kanak represented them so well. A mix of modern and country, simple and elegant. They said their vows at the foot of the cross and Jesus was glorified. They danced the night away in a barn among their best people. Even with the rain this day glowed with light and joy! The large reception barn offered the right space for everyone to be warm, enjoy each other’s company and of course dance! Chris with Music Makes You Happy led the whole day smoothly and so much personality.
Mr. and Mrs. Myers
The highlight of the day was watching Evan’s dad. From the tearful first look to pulling back the blusher, I got to watch him give Caleb one of his favorite people in the world. You can see how precious Evan was to him just by watching his tears and reactions. And then I got to see they way Caleb returned that love by how he smiled at her the rest of the day. Evan surprised her mom with a dance at the reception, which was a first for me to see, but even more of a witness to this families love for each other!
Caleb and Evan, I am so happy and excited for you! Happy new marriage! And a big thank you to Cameron!!! This was our LAST WEDDING for her as a DWP Intern! It was an amazing year! I will miss our long car rides and talking home renovations, puppies and handy husbands! Watch out world for her! She is going to do amazing things!
