So this is just my personality. I am a Campaigner ENFP-A so I sing the praises of the things I love. I have learned to tone it down a bit because I have been told I can be intense, but it sometimes just has to come out.
I LOVE MARCO POLO (the app). I am on it everyday almost. If you don’t know what Marco Polo is, it is an app that is best described as a video walk talky. Or similar to snap chat, but you can record as long as you want on the video and only the person you are sending it to can see it. There are filters and funny voice things but I never use those. Now before you roll your eyes and think, “not another social media app,” It is technically not social media as your conversation are not public or open to every one of your friends, only the ones you share with.
Y’all, I live in Newport News Va. EVERYONE moves away from me. I have dear friends in Nashville, Louisville, Philly, ENGLAND..and I stay in touch almost daily with them. I talk to friends that live near me too, and we almost prefer it to texting. You can just have one with one friend or a group of friends.
Here is the thing. When my dear friend Crystal moved away I lost a lot. I lost a gym buddy, someone I could talk to about private things, a neighbor best friend, church best friend, and just best friend. We would see each other multiple time a week and it took me a while to not tear up every time I thought about her being gone. Now I have a few other best friends too, and I am so thankful they are here, but I still felt the lose when Crystal moved! For a while we would FaceTime maybe once every few months, and we did a few vacations together, but since we started talking on MP, it’s *almost* like I have my friend back in my life. I know her life and she knows mine. This app has changed my long distance friendships!
Maybe this is just the Campaigner in me, but GET THIS APP! It has been such a blessing to me! I know it can be for you too!
