Belle Isle Engagement Session

Dee and Brandon's Belle Isle Engagement session was one interesting adventure. I say that because, even though I have been there at least 5 times I always end up lost somehow. It had been a pretty long day to begin with because I had done an engagement session that morning in DC and had a bachelorette party for my sister-in-law the night before. Little sleep and not my city haha. Not a great combo. Plus, we had been traveling and I needed to go to the bathroom before we got to Belle Isle. We stopped at least at 5 different places and none of them had a public restroom. Luckily Dee and Brandon are the sweetest and didn't mind the confusion. We ended up parking in a spot that I was not familiar with so we went exploring. There is so much to Belle Isle and the biggest surprise of it all is that it is in the middle of a city! There is so much history and almost always so many people. And the best part of it all was that it was nice and warm! Something I have not had in a while! Another thing I haven't seen in a while, the afternoon sun. And it glowed it's glorious glow that evening! I can't get enough of it and I think Brandon and Dee thing I must be crazy for being so excited about it.

Dee and Brandon were the best couple to get lost with because they make everything fun! The laugh and know how to have a great time. My favorite pictures of them are the ones of them laughing and teasing each other. They are genuine and I loved capturing that for them. I know their wedding day will be just as fun and I can't wait for that! Their marriage will be just as adventurous as this day.
