Belle Isle Richmond Engagement Photographer

Richmond has so much charm to give and an engagement session in the city is always so romantic! Belle Isle and Libby Hill Park looked so good on them! For these two classy people it was all perfect!

Okay. This was an adventure for sure. Here is the story. Ryan and I decided to leave Sprint and go with Straight Talk. After talking with so many people we thought leaving Sprint would be a pain. It would take forever! So we buy phones and quit Sprint, but we thought it would take a few days for Sprint to port our numbers to the new plan. I wasn't using my new phone yet because it wasn't working, and I really love Richmond engagements, but I don't know the city all that well and I live a good hour and 20 minutes away. After so much planning Lan-Anh and David and I all nail down a date for their engagement session and I am so excited to travel to meet them. They are coming from all over the place and they both have these crazy busy lives being Doctors and all. So I am almost there to meet them and I decide that I better take a bathroom break before I get there so there is no distractions. I stop right outside the city at a gas station and when I get back in my car, put the GPS back on my phone nothing happens. I try again. Nothing. Says that I am out of network! So I try calling. YOUR PHONE HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED. Um. I have NO CLUE where I am or how to get to where I need to go and I CAN'T CALL ANYONE! I can feel my heartbeat in my throat. I start to get really really hot. Okay, no big deal. The map is still open and loaded. So I manually follow the map, like back in the day.

I start down the road I think will lead me to the place I want to be, and I am hopping mad at my husband, whom I remember turning on my new phone right as I kissed him goodbye. I remember thinking in my head that maybe he should wait until after I get home, but I also remember that he said it would take a long time to switch over so I don't say a thing.

I find where I said to meet and no Lan-Anh or David to be found. I find some kind strangers and thank the Lord Lan-Anh answers her phone!!! Everything worked out in the end, but y'all. I NEVER want to do that again.

Poor Lan-Anh and David probably think I am crazy! Also, it was HOT in February which always is strange but a pretty cool thing so Lan-Anh and be comfortable is those killer dresses!

This sweet couple had me rolling laughing the whole time which took all that stress away and we just had a blast exploring the city! Can't wait for their May wedding!
