Annie and Hunter’s Castle Hill Cider wedding day made me feel cozy and joyful. Despite the drizzly rain and gray skies it only made guests want to celebrate all the more and be closer to one another. Castle cider Hill is a gorgeous vineyard in Charlottesville among the mountains with sprawling Hills and a large majestic white barn. Inside are strong lights everywhere. It is a large venue and Annie and Hunter chose to have their ceremony in the upstairs area where the doors could be open to view the beautiful mountains while still in the comfort of the inside.
The Ceremony
With the cross that also stood at her sisters wedding and the beautiful vowsAnnie and Hunter’s faith was ever present as they became husband and wife. Those lights made for such a romantic atmospher.
A fall day
Annie braved the freezing cold as did her bridesmaids and we were able to get portraits and avoid the rain in this beautiful place. I’m so thankful for the break in the drizzle to document this time. The leaves are still on the trees and so colorful. I know Annie picked castle hill cider for her wedding because of just the majestic views.
The party!
The reception was a blast as the guests were on the dance floor for all of three hours. Annie and Hunter made sure they were on the dance floor as well and had fun the entire time. Cider donuts were a throwback to her sisters wedding six years ago and they also she will share the same anniversary! What a sweet bond for these two sisters to have.
