Coffee + Camera Workshop 2020
YOU ARE INVITED!
Announcing Coffee & Camera Workshop 2020!
February 8th in my home office in Newport News
This is a small gathering of 8 or less, breakfast and tons of coffee are provided, from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Why a small group?
In my church and when I worked in college ministry I have come to know the power of a small group of people working together to learn or achieve a goal. I want to bring this to our photography industry! In the beginning of 2017 I invited a few photographers who just started their businesses into my home and we had yummy food (y’all know I grew up Southern Baptist and I always have to have food around) and I created a safe space for us to talk through each business and answer those burning questions. I know that when I had just started my business I was overwhelmed with how much there was to learn and it took many hours of research. The absolute best education I received was when I was able to just ask questions. From editing, lighting, and camera equipment to marketing, SEO, and branding, there is so much to learn and I needed someone who has gone before me to answer those questions!
It's the perfect first step!
With so many educational options out there and it costing so much, it is a real sacrifice to start a photography business. This workshop is a great place to start your journey! It is safe, you can ask any questions you have (no matter how “beginner” or “dumb” you think they might be), I will get to see your business and tell you where your next steps should be, and you create lasting friendships with the others in the group where you can grow together and encourage each other as you learn.
To keep this a small gathering there is very limited space! Only 8 spaces available!

“The Coffee and Cameras Workshop was extremely beneficial to my personal growth and business success this past year! Dani created a relaxed and friendly environment for us to ask questions, bounce ideas off each other, and gain insight on growing our businesses. From editing tricks, to organized workflow tips, to posing and shooting, she touched on everything we wanted to know! Her knowledge has helped inspire and motivate me to be a better business owner and photographer!” – Meg Rose Photography
