Colonial Williamsburg Engagement Photographer
This gorgeous, light filled, Colonial Williamsburg Engagement was a breath of fresh air. Literally and figuratively. Anne and Andrew we amazing to hang out with and photograph!
I know I can be awkward and strange sometimes, but I might have been a little crazy at this session, or at least Anne and Andrew might think I am because I could NOT get over this gorgeous light. Maybe it was because I haven't seen the sun in soooo long, AND I got to do this gorgeous session with the sun, but Anne and Andrew are now well aware of my love of good light.
Even though it was cold and we are all looking forward to spring warmth, it was lovely to walk around Williamsburg and see the blooming trees and enjoy being outside. Anne and Andrew are getting married in a few short months here, yet they are planning their wedding day from Chicago! They are doing an amazing job of it though! They only had a weekend in town to get all the things done and finalized. Those little details can really add up, but hoping that this is a really fun time for them as they are in the short stage of life. One thing I sometimes remind couples is that the engagement period is short compared to any other stage of life, and (hopefully) only happens once in your life. Enjoy it! Taste the food, eat the cake, try on that dress with confidence and don't let it stress you out. You are planning a wedding! Anne and Andrew reminded me of how fun it can be. It's time consuming, but fun!
I'm sooo excited for their Williamsburg wedding and praying that this gorgeous light we had for this session is the light we get on the day they say "I do."
