Ford's Colony Country Club Williamsburg Wedding

It might have been cold, and a little grey, but that was no ones focus on this day. There were many tears, because this family was bonded, both sides, to this very special couple. Kristen and Curtis have been thinking about this day for a very long time. They both waited to achieve very large goals, and they both reached them and starting their marriage off with that hard work behind them. Their wedding at Ford's Colony Country Club in Williamsburg Virginia was a celebration of family and these two beautiful people.

A Virginia Christmas Wedding

This whole wedding was all out Christmas. It felt like home, so cozy, even the bridesmaids wore Christmas pajamas to get ready in! My favorite part was the K and C stockings hung on the fire place at the alter! What a sweet little touch! The large Christmas tree was dazzling and the take home ornaments at each place setting was a sweet little gift for guess to take home and remember this day every year when they celebrate their Christmas together.

A Very Special First Look

The absolute sweetest moment from this day was the first look. The grooms mother passed away before this day could happen, but what Curtis's mom did get to do was see Kristen in her wedding dress. They snapped a picture together and when it was time for Curtis to see his bride, Kristen presented the picture to him in a frame. He didn't know his mom got to see the dress! The tears were overflowing as they took a moment to remember Curtis's mother, and how much they love her and wish she had been with them, but so thankful she got to see her new daughter in her wedding gown. The knew she was proud of them and they knew she was happy to call Kristen her family.

Kristen and Curtis, you both love and adore your families so well. I know you will show that kindness to other in your marriage! Thank you so much for having me be a big part of this day! And thank you to Cameron for being my other eyes and for Maria for making sure they had the wedding of their dreams!
