Fort Monroe Hampton Maternity Photographer
Sarah and Logan where all glow for their Fort Monroe Maternity session!
It was one of those evening when I left my driveway hot and it was sooo sunny, and then I arrive at Fort Monroe 20 minutes later to cold, wind and no sun to speak of. It was like a different season going into the car and a whole other getting out of the car. I just can't keep up with you Virginia!
But had their been sun and heat I would have never been able to capture this couple in this intimate way! The wind and the cool light was exactly what we needed for these two! It even became a little misty toward the end. Logan and Hannah are not originally from here, but their first baby will be born here, so this place has become special and worth documenting. One of the last pictures shows a huge barge photo bombing because it came through the bay to dock in Norfolk at just the right time. That east coast beach with the big barge is the perfect picture of the Hampton Roads area! It's what makes us so unique and what makes the place where these two become first time parents so special!
Another aspect of Fort Monroe that I LOVE are these big old oaks! If those long and low branches could tell us stories, oh what would they say? And how perfect is it that Logan and Sarah wore blues and whites with the cool light and the blue/grey stone. Like we planned for this to happen. Walking around Fort Monroe always reminds me of how cool and historic this area is and how luck I am to live here! One of these days I will come and do a tour and just enjoy it instead of coming just to work!
Congrats Logan and Sarah! You both will be wonderful parents to this little guy!
