Glasgow Farm Fredericksburg Wedding

This wedding Glasgow farm in Fredericksburg Virginia will be one of my top weddings. Lauren and Ethan’s big day was so life-giving and beautiful in so many ways. Even if their engagement session I was excited to see them become husband-and-wife. When the day did come it was exactly as I would hope they would be in so much more. They truly had the purest of joy throughout the whole day.

Walking along the farm you get to see all kinds of fun animals like goats chickens and turkeys. The beautiful green barn stands in the middle and the landscape with pear trees and yellow flowers were everywhere. The weather was amazing with clouds during the day in the sun peeking through right before sunset. There was a cool breeze they kept everyone happy and focused on the bride and groom.

Lauren started off her day getting ready with her girls in the rustic bridal suite. She got to see her father and all of her brothers, and this is a very big family. Ethan spent some time with his guys. He grew up in Pakistan and. His family brought so much color to the day.

The Ceremony

The service was absolutely beautiful as they sang worship songs to the Lord and praise him for what he has done here. They said their vows under a beautiful and large pear tree. Right before they had their first kiss the coolest breeze continue to flow and when they finally did kiss her veil took off in the wind and it was gorgeous!! It was like it was planned that way.

The Portraits

During portraits we walked around the property in the back trails where the yellow flowers grow. Lauren and Ethan got to talk and recount of the moments of the day leading up to the ceremony. It’s nice on a bride and groom have a chance to talk alone before the craziness of the reception.

The Reception

During the reception, there was not a dry eye during many moments. Lauren and Ethan twisted and turned with all eyes on them, and these have to be one of my favorite first dance pictures. When it was time for Lauren to dance with her father, midway through her two sisters joined in and they all dance together and that’s when the tears flowed. It was the sweetest thing!

Lauren and Ethan‘s day at Glasgow farm in Fredericksburg, Virginia will always be remembered by so many. The joy and the celebration will continue on as they build their marriage.
