This girl has had some serious life changes in the last few months and waiting for the biggest one next weekend! In the fall we celebrated her engagement to Griffon with these engagement photos, then we got to have some fun with her bridal portraits which you will get to see you soon! And now we are celebrating her graduation from Hampton University! She is now officially a pharmacist. Six years of school and she’s finally done. She worked so hard and deserves every moment of celebration. Her family is so proud of her and I love watching them rally around her in excitement. In a short while she will also make a stunning bride.

Even though I have lived near Hampton University for almost a decade I have never actually seen the campus. I had no idea how gorgeous it was and I enjoyed walking around seeing the history in the old buildings and enjoying the atmosphere. Courtney was stunning as usual and her cap and gown which is not an easy thing to pull off. But she totally did it! Walking around she got to show me some of the buildings and we even had some fun with some confetti. She talked about how hard it was to spend 6 years studying and working towards this goal, but she kept going and even managed to be in a few societies and groups.

I don’t do graduation photos often but when I do I really do enjoy them. It’s fun to celebrate and it’s fun to take pictures of something different. These confetti photos are some of my favorite. They’re not easy to do but I love a good challenge.

Congrats Courtney! And I can’t wait to see you as a bride and Griffin’s new wife!
