Hilton Oceanfront Wedding Virginia Beach

Jordan and Lucas said their vows in front of their favorite people at the Hilton Oceanfront in Virginia Beach last weekend on the first perfect Saturday of the year! The clouds were puffy white and the sky was clear blue and it was FINALLY warm enough for the beach. Jordan and her girls got ready in a bright room that overlooked the ocean. When Lucas and Jordan said their vows it was overlooking the waves. It may have been an inside wedding, but it felt like we were right on the beach the whole day!

Oh the tears. When Jordan got her dress on the tears really started to flow. First her girls, then her mama, then her dad! It was finally her wedding day and the joy overflowed! For portraits we did have to fight some wind and crowds (it was college beach week!) but we had a blast and Jordan and Lucas got about 1,000 congrats from the beach goers. Jordan and Lucas got to do a first look and got a lot of family portraits done before the ceremony which is always a good move. And it didn't spoil the walk down the aisle, the tear where flowing still!

The reception was so fun and full of the little things that make Jordan and Lucas who they are. A Light Saber salute to Lucas, Guardians of the Galaxy dinner music and a sibling dance no one will forget made it totally theirs. It was a gathering of great friends on both sides and the dance floor was non stop. It was a beautiful night!!
