Newport News Senior Portraits {Jordan}

Meet Jordan. He is a senior and soooo ready for college! Jordan's senior portrait session at CNU was a blast!

It wasn't too long ago I was doing his sister's senior portraits, and he was tagging along, talking about photography with me. We have a lot in common! He is passionate about art, and he is going to college in York, PA for graphic design. We got to talking and I just loved looking back at those years (almost 10 years ago) and all the things I got to do in that time. College is special, especially when there is a little financial freedom with the help of the parents. I talked about when I traveled and did some really crazy things. One thing I loved sharing was that summer I spent in Kenya and just how hard that was. Traveling is exciting, but when you get the chance, and college years are perfect for this, do something hard. Do something that takes you out of your comfort zone and puts you in the middle of some real world stuff. It's okay to have some fun, but not everything good is fun. Sometimes the best days are the ones that make us work hard, and when we do scary things. College give you the chance for that!

It came so fast that it was his turn for his senior portraits! I can't believe how the years fly by! And if you couldn't tell, Jordan has done a little modeling in the past! He was such a pro! He loves the camera and he is so creative. This guy need a good camera in his hand, because I am sure he could do some cool things with it!

Congrats Jordan! It was so fun walking a talking with you and I wish you so much luck at college!
