If you run into Katie and Robbie on the street you will most likely see them laughing and joking, not taking anything too seriously. If you get to know them then you will find that they are passionate and hard working. They are a couple anyone would enjoy being around! I have known Robbie and his family a while. A long while. Went to the same high school and church, have wonderful memories hanging out with his sister, and getting to know his parents. His mom has always been a great encourager especially when it came to my photography! I did a senior session for Robbie when I was just a baby photographer and now I get to be his wedding photographer!
A Day in Norfolk
This day was a little bit of a strange one, or just a normal day in Virginia. The leaves were still gorgeous fall colors on the trees, and it started out very grey and gloomy. We were expecting storms and it was really warm for this time of year. Katie and Robbie had to redo their outfit choices because they would have never survived in sweaters. I was kicking myself for not starting earlier because I was worried it would get darker faster because the sky was so cloudy. We started the session and not long after we started to notice bits of sun, and then after an outfit change at Katie's apartment (she lives near Waterside the luck gal) we went back out to completely clear skys and gorgeous warm sun. It felt like May and it looked like it too!

I am so happy that Robbie found Katie. I always thought he was such a great guy and so fun to be around. He is willing to do hard things to work for what he wants and so is Katie. They are smart, too funny and sweet as can be. I know that they will have a long and fun life together, and time flies too fast for him to be old enough to get married!!!
