Norfolk Waterside Engagement Photography
Elyse and David's Waterside Norfolk Engagement
brought back so many sweet memories for Elyse while we walked along the water. She talked about how she would walk her dog here and think about how great it would be to have a wedding here. Now she is planning her own day in this place!
Sometimes Norfolk surprises me
when I come for a shoot. It has been 10 years since living here in college (almost) and they way they have built up this city makes me proud. I always dreamed of living in the Freemason neighborhood and strolling the streets, or hanging out at Town Point Park, but I didn't get that chance, and I never really could have afforded to anyways!
Elyse and David's Half Moone Bay Wedding
will be my first wedding at that venue! And my second time having a bride get ready at The Main! It was brand new when I was a bride and I thought about having my own wedding there. I was more of a southern/ traditional girl with some nautical blood in my so The Lesner Inn fit me best, but looking at it now, Half Moone would have been a blast too!
Those large windows overlooking the water and the great ceilings really make a statement, Plus the city scape as a backdrop for pictures really makes it a fun place for a wedding day!
After walking around for about an hour,
talking through their big day I could see how excited the both of them were. I know they are really looking forward to becoming husband and wife. Summer will be here again before we know it, but for now, being engaged is so sweet and fleeting. This season really is unique and short and worth celebrating!
Congrats Elyse and David on your engagement! I can't wait to capture it for you!
