Megan and Zach’s Pippin hill wedding was one of the classiest of the season! I’ve always admired Pippin Hill and it’s majestic beauty in the mountains of Charlottesville, and Megan and Zach are one of the classiest couples I’ve ever photographed. Meagan’s sweet heart and Zach’s a gentleness toward her is the kind of couple I love to serve!

The Experience

I always knew couples chose Pippin Hill for his beautiful views and gorgeous venue, but I learned at Zach and Megan‘s wedding that they also excel in their food! Their micro herb salad was an experience and the lobster tail and ribeye made me feel so fancy and in luxury!

Megan is a NICU physician and works with delicate babies with her hands, so she chose to have a very simple gold band as her wedding ring. At their first look, Zach surprised her with a special wedding band with diamonds to wear when she is not working and goes well with her amazing engagement ring. She has no idea it was coming! She was so excited! It was one of the cutest first looks!

The Ceremony

It has been a pretty grey day and it looked as though rain may threaten. Megan and Zach had hoped to have their ceremony outside with the mountains in view as they said their vows. Right as Megan started down the aisle, the sun pocked itself out of the clouds and the warmth and light bathed the ceremony. I was blinding in the most fabulous way! They said their written vows and as they kissed their first as a married couple the sun set below the mountain! I can make this stuff up. It was like a Hallmark movie.

The Party!

Megan's father was honored by Megan's brothers both down the aisle and for the father-daughter dance at the reception. He was well remembered but also joyful memories where made as both Megan's brothers twirled her around.
