The Tides Inn Wedding Northern Neck Virginia

Virginia and Nick had their perfect southern coastal wedding in dusty blue at The Tides Inn in the Northern Neck of VA this past weekend!

Get ready. This is a longer than normal wedding post and as you scroll, you will see why! There were details, special moments, and two families becoming one, so there is a lot to share! Virginia has a very specific taste and she loves hard, so she filled her day with those things. Nick just wanted to be by her side and become her husband. All those dreams came true on Saturday, surrounded by sunlight and family with that fresh costal Virginia smell in the air.

Also, if you are as big of a fan of blue hydrangeas as I am then you will LOVE everything about this wedding. Virginia and her bridesmaids collected all those gorgeous vases for a very long time and she found a place for each and every one of them. The place was a blue of stunning flowers and delicate details. They made it feel like home! The Tides Inn looks over the river with boats on one side, and gardens all around. The reception was near the restaurant which has a gorgeous view of the river, and the party happens in a room all to itself. There is so much space for sitting and chatting, or just enjoying the nature all around. It feels like a dream vacation. Completely relaxing!

Virginia and Nick had the coolest band bring down the house and keep the party going. Virginia dances and twirled with nick and then her dad, with some special people cutting in for a turn. She surprised her mom by wearing her dress for a dance to her mom's favorite song. I promise, this girl thought of everything!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Virginia and Nick's team of vendors. We all worked until we were sweaty messes and loved the thrill and gorgeousness of it all! So thankful I got to be a part of it all!
