Two Rivers Country Club Wedding
Two River’s Country Club
…Is one of my personal favorite places for a wedding. Overlooking the water, gorgeous landscape and blossoms, and kind hearted vendors to serve and care, you just cannot beat it! They made Katie and Daniel’s day move so smoothly!
Well over a year ago
…I walked with Katie and Daniel through colonial Williamsburg and really got to know them as a couple for their engagement session. The first thing you figure out is that Daniel is hilarious and loves to laugh with you and about himself, and Katie is just as witty, maybe a little dryer. And if you have followed along with me you know that this is my favorite kind of person.
Little did we all know
….what this week would turn into. With a massive hurricane projected to hit us almost dead on, things suddenly looked uncertain for this day. A day, that a year ago we were laughing about and dreaming about. While those in Wilmington were on our minds when they took the brunt of the disaster we were so thankful that this day was untouched! So many emotions happening and every day came with new news and uncertainty. I am so glad they stuck it out because it really was a gorgeous day!
Although Daniel is so funny
….and cracks a joke in every moment, he was a pretty nervous and excited groom. Thank goodness he had his handkerchief because some of that sweat was not just because of the humidity. Katie, who is a little quiet, but also just as funny, shed some tears down the aisle. Now, from one non-crier to another, I know that shedding those tears down the aisle is so much more than most people can understand. It really takes a lot for me to openly cry, and that’s the only time I cried on my wedding day too!
Thank you so much Ashley with Who's That Girl Photos for swooping in a saving the day!
