When Brennan described the state to me he said, "imagine the biggest and best beach party you can." So I had a pretty high hopes for this Virginia backyard wedding day.

I knew I was gonna have some fun. This was my first time meeting a couple in person. Just from the phone conversations to be had I knew I would enjoy this, but I didn’t know just how much I would love them from spending one day with them. Brennan truly is a free spirit. He knows what he wants and loves his family well. Chelsea is kind, gentle hearted and always thinking of others.

When I arrived I was floored at how many beautiful things Chelsea had picked out to represent her and her Virginia backyard wedding. I looked out from the balcony of the beach house and saw the beautiful beach with the arbor made by her own father’s hands. And then I saw the beautiful wooden tables and flowers under the tent next to the house. And then I saw the best part, I saw all the lights in the dance floor on the sand. I was immediately very excited!

Perfect Virginia Day

I was so worried that the weather would be so hot and miserable, but the wind gave us a nice breeze and by the end of the night I was actually kind of chilly, which was nice. It was a perfect day weather wise.

Because of the perfect weather everyone enjoyed themselves! Backyard weddings can be tricky, but the wedding coordinator did an amazing job at keeping everything straight and on time. From the beautiful view to the lovely flowers, the atmosphere was intimate and romantic.

Both sides of the family know each other well and seem to love each other like family already. I was so blessed to series 2 families become one.
