This Virginia Beach wedding day was perfect!

I have been able to get to know Courtney and her family over this last year. It started off with their gorgeous engagement session that you can see here. And Courtney and I got together often for other fun shoots like her bridals and her graduation. I got to see her and Griffin so often that when the day finally came out with a part of the family and seeing my friends get married.

As I’ve said in other posts, Courtney is one of the hardest working people I’ve ever met. She worked so hard to get her PhD in pharmacy and Griffin, once a hockey player, now in the world of finance. They will both enjoy the first years of marriage living in Manhattan. What a dream!

Beautiful and Unique!

Their wedding day was as beautiful and unique as they are! They started by getting ready at the gorgeous Founder’s Inn and Spa, and Courtney met Griffin nearby at Regent University right in front of the same fountain where she had her bridal session. The family soon after joined them for portraits. The wind was cool, it was beautiful. Then they got married in the cutest little white church in Sandbridge, Virginia and celebrated on the oceanfront in Virginia Beach at the Attic at Waterman’s. Of course we had to stop at King Neptune for some portraits before arriving at Watermans.

The Vendors

Josh and Liz from Mann & Wife Events pulled the whole thing off perfectly. The flowers are stunning made by joshes own hands, and he often had to chauffeur people to and from. They worked hard to make this a day to remember.

One of my favorite things, which you saw in her bridal session, is Courtney‘s showstopper bridal gown. The all-over lace was simple and elegant and that tulle skirt gave it the drama that fit her just right. I am loving this new trend of skirts over the dress so much.

The day ended with a sparkler exit as a guest created a circle celebrating the bride and groom. This day could not have been what it was without these wonderful vendors:
