Williamsburg before sunset is one of my favorite places to be, and it’s the perfect spot for a romantic anniversary session!
One of the most intimidating things for photographers is to photograph another photographer! But it’s also really fun to walk and talk and stretch creativity a little further, because I know that the client also knows what they’re doing and we both can have a little more fun than we usually do.

It is also intimidating to be in front of the camera! I’m sure as I usually am when it’s my turn for my picture to be taken. Chris and Shawna chose such a gorgeous place to mark this time in their married life. As a Williamsburg Anniversary Photographer, I highly believe in documenting all parts of life, especially anniversaries! As we are both photographers who knew our favorite places in spots around Colonial Williamsburg. You can see their work here. It’s always a joy to get to know others in my own industry. We have so much in common and so many fun things to share with one another. This business can get pretty lonely if you don’t get out there and meet others.
Chris is hilarious and fun, adventurous and confident. Shawna is kind and gentle, confident and approachable. Together they are a joy to spend time with and they make a great photography team! They love their couples so well!
