Being in Williamsburg family photographer, I meet some amazing families and capture some precious moments.
The first time I really got to know Audrey was on a four hour car ride to the creative at heart conference. It was only their second conference ever and now they’ve done more than 10. We talked all the way there about anything and everything. We had so much in common with being photographers been running a business. We were never short of words. Little did I know that I was very newly pregnant with Eli on that trip.
Now Audrey has her own little baby boy to love and I am so excited I got to document this time in her life. James is such a sweet little boy. He loves his mama and his dad, which you can see in these pictures! I loved watching them try to make him smile. We had to work for it, but it was so worth it in the end. Oh the perks of being a Williamsburg family photographer and watching these parents do every sound and move they could to get that boy to even just grin! It was hilarious! Audrey's mom dropped by for extra support and I am so thankful for it. She was pretty good at getting him to smile and took the pressure off me so I could focus of capturing it!
Colonial Williamsburg
Colonial Williamsburg was stunning as usual. The flowers were absolutely perfect. We were never short of beautiful spots and I might have overdone it. It also helps that Audrey is an amazing photographer her self and she knows exactly what poses to go to which made my job very easy. Walking around with her and her husband and baby (and mom for support) I got to reminisce, and get to know them a little bit better. I always love catching up when I can!
