Yorktown Engagement Photographer {Kristen + Curtis}

Kristen and Curtis's Yorktown Beach engagement session was everything it should be! Perfect, glowing sun, and the two of them laughing together: my favorite things. That water was gorgeous and the gorgeous pastels made me happy that it is spring.

It doesn't feel that long ago I was doing Kristen's bridal session out at Wintergreen in the freezing cold, fresh out of the holidays and looking forward to spring. Now we are here at the beach in the warmth of the sun. And soon, too soon, we will be cold again at their wedding in December! I love celebrating this short season, even when it doesn't feel so short, it always ends up being in the end. Seeing Kristen with Curtis together for the first time was a breath of fresh air, and makes me sooo excited for their wedding day when it is all come together.

They both are extremely hard workers! Curtis and Kristen just graduated with master degrees, and both are thinking about more school in the future in the medical field. They met in college at CNU so school is what they know, and the have been together for a while now. This wedding will not just mark a new chapter as married but a new chapter as in the work world together. They both are so focus that it was a joy to see them relaxing together and enjoying some down time for this shoot.

Because they have been together for so long now there is already so much history, and it shows in their pictures. So many times he would say something to her that I didn't quite catch but she would bust out laughing. They know each other the best, they have a relationship that has a solid foundation and that makes this upcoming wedding all the more a celebration.
