Yorktown Maternity Photographer
Spring has arrived in Yorktown and this gorgeous maternity session was warm and filled with golden light! Lauren was glowing and so pretty in that flowy floral dress! Not to mention that perfect bump!
I have known the Bales for a little while now and I love being around them! Love how funny and dry their humor is, and what a match Lauren and Jacob are to each other! I am so excited for them and this little one!
This is actually our second attempt at this session. The first attempt was on a beautiful and sunny day like this one, but a few degrees cooler. And when I say a few degrees cooler I mean by 50 degrees. It could have snowed, and I actually think they were calling for a few flurries at the time. It was too cold for poor little Nate to handle and I don't blame him. Sometimes it's not worth it, but waiting for this day was the best decision for everyone. You can see on Lauren and Jacobs face that they were much happier and a lot more comfortable! With babies sometimes there really isn't room for waiting, but Lauren looks just a beautiful now as she did then, so it worked for the best. Not to mention crazy virginia and it's weather issues. There is never a dull moment and nothing is ever predictable. Just very thankful for this warm moment! Of course give it a few months and I'll be writing about how hot it is out!
Maternity sessions are a very special session as it is such a fleeting moment in life. So many moments are but that belly will change again and so soon. It's just always never a bad idea to capture this time and look back on it. Maybe even show this little one what mama looked like!
