I met Annie for the first time when she was made-of-honor for her sisters wedding wayback in the day. It was one of my very first big time, big girl wedding at Amber Grove. Gracie was just six weeks old. It was the first time I have left her. I will always be grateful to Brian and Maggie for putting Their trust in me and jump starting this amazing little business.

Here we are again capturing another gorgeous wedding in this beautiful family. Even with so many changes that have occurred in the last nearly 7 years. It is a blast doing Richmond Engagement Photography!

Annie + Hunter

Annie and Hunter are a classic couple that are not only very smart and hard-working but also very talented. Hunter is a woodworker and has an amazing shop which you can find here. Annie, like her sister Maggie, is also a teacher and is passionate about her students!

A Tour of Richmond's Finest

They started the session off at the capitol buildings in Richmond Virginia where the gorgeous government buildings sit on the hill and have a beautiful view of the city.

And I’m headed over to Belle Isle where we had an interesting experience among many young people enjoying themselves. The water was quite high and it was difficult to move around so we didn’t stay very long. I’ll be honest, i’ve never seen so much cannabis out in the open in my life. I joked that if they could be smiling and Lovey dove there, and they could do that anywhere. It was quite the wrecking experience for them I am sure. This will make the nerves of the wedding day nothing compared to the nerves we shared on those beautiful rocks!

We quickly left after getting a few shots and headed for historic Tredegar Iron Works, which was much quieter and enjoyable to explore. What a tour in the world of Richmond Engagement Photography.

Congrats Annie and Hunter on your engagement and I cannot wait for the wedding!
